I do not begin to say, that it was quiet at the last time and that you don't hear anything from us ... And also good intentions like "I will often post in the diary" etc. I don't do. I don't keep it. ^^
The next version will come soon and there are a lot of things to say. Many changes/innovations are added, which might have effects of the already existing gamesets/scripts.
For the correcting of the (surely in a high mass) existing mistakes will start the Alpha-Test at the beginning of May. Alpha-Test means that the large changes are included but little changes are still possible. When the version reaches the Beta-Status, we'll only do Bug-Fixes. How long the test will last, we can't say at the moment. But it will take some time.
As innovation for this test, it's possible to hold the V0.900 and the new V0.910 n a parallel way. The testversion uses a new branch in the registry. So it's easier to try the actual version and the testversion. Also the online-update is separate, so that updates can be published in a much easier way. And the deinstallation of the testversion is separate from the actual version.
We'll do that for all in future coming version, 'cause it's much easier to offer little version for testing.
As another innovation there will be a new section in the forum, which should be used for discussions/questions of the testversion. Errors should be mentioned in the bugtracker, and not in this new sections. Error messages in the forum will be transfered in the bugtracker and then be pushed in the wastepaper basket (like already done).
At last we'll do an information serie, in which we'll mention in a detail way about the changes at version 0.910 and describe the effects for the gamesets. This serie we'll start in the next days and we'll go on at regular intervals.
