I like to set my games to maximum dificulty and than use save and restore to work out an optimum path through the mission. An optimum path is where none of my squad are injured.

TFTD was a really excellent game because some missions I had to actually accept the death of some of my squad.

This game, without save & restore, does not have that element of incremental strategic evolution. I have to play the mission over again from scratch but with the map re-randomised every time.

Please, please, please give us save and restore so that those of us who want to use it may do so. Those of us who don't want to use it can leave it alone, if that is what they want.
