Call me a stickler for detail, but I couldn't help noticing that you have to research supersonic ammo in this game (v0.845 English), and under its description, supersonic ammo is illegal.
I assume this is a mistranslation - it's pretty far-fetched, especially given that anti-personnel mines *are* legal in the game. Nearly all firearms use supersonic ammunition, and subsonic ammo is a specialised tool used only by some snipers (supersonic bullets make a loud bang as they pass objects, which can give a sniper's position away). As a reference point, the old Soviet AK-47 has a muzzle velocity around 710m/s, which is about mach 2.1, and the M-16A2 has a muzzle velocity of about 930 m/s.
Can anyone shed some light on this? |

Mach means the speed of sound in a medium. It is not a constant value. |

I straight a few new things investigated and to me was noticeable that some weapons and types of ammunition possess a very strange description, therefore times kuz ne briefing:
Supersonic weapons (1.2 Mach):

it won't me edit the name to you altfelde, but yes I took a look at your name translated and it is yours, I posted it becuase you sound more knowledgable than anybody who speaks in this subject. online translators are pretty cool, i know more because of it like the increeased resolution for 9.0 and what not. |
