Is there any way or future posiblity that the ground combat system will be changed so your soldiers move during your turn instead of waiting until the end of turn button is hit? I can think of absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be done the way the first two x-com games were done. As it is now its needlessly complex, somewhat limiting in tactical options, and terribly annoying. Makes missions a real pain. I feel like I'm leading a pack of crippled retards instead of professional soldiers.

it always worked the same way as the original X-COM: first click to see the path and control how much time units you will have left, second click to execute movement.

Only if you do not make the second click to command move now the soldier will wait to end-turn with his commands
